In short, happiness is not a place or product but lies in processes. The four activities  that Emily Smith is outlining are not the only routes. There are as many as there are people; each unique to the circumstances in which a person lives. The trick is to be completely mindful during any process, allowing it to flow without resistance. Ancient wisdom, but valid even today.
